1- The extremists: the ones that implement every bit of the Quran and Hadith, want to apply sharia law and conquer the whole world to enforce the word of Allah, probably at least 20% of all Muslims currently
2- The radicals/conservatives: those are the ones who will kill their daughters for having sex before marriage, and will probably call the police or anti-terror units if they find out one of their children is a homosexual or atheist. The...y probably make up around 60% of the whole Muslim population.
3- The lip-service muslims: those are the ones who will fast in ramadan, celebrate the two Eids and mumble a few words from the Quran during funerals, only because they are used to it or forced to do these things because it is the norm and the other 80% are stronger. They are the final 20% and usually live in urban areas, Cairo, Beirut, Damascus, Istanbul etc. Many of those will probably be non-religious or even atheists practically, but will pay lip service to the social Establishment in order to avoid trouble.
